Mark Washington, Managing Director, Walker & Dunlop [Moderator]
Mark Washington is a managing director of Capital Markets | Multifamily Investment Sales at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Seattle, Washington. In this role, Washington leads multifamily investment sales across the Pacific Northwest, advising institutional and private clients on property dispositions, joint ventures, recapitalizations, and strategic capital markets transactions. Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Washington served as an executive vice president with CBRE’s capital markets team in the Pacific Northwest. Earlier in his career, he held roles at Eastdil Secured, JLL, and Nuveen Real Estate, advising clients on complex asset transactions and portfolio strategies.
Washington earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Morehouse College and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. He is active in the Urban Land Institute and CREDA Washington State (formerly NAIOP) and serves on nonprofit boards focused on community development and arts initiatives in the Pacific Northwest.

Raymond Connell, Managing Director, Holland Partner Group
Raymond (Ray) Connell currently serves as the Managing Director for the Holland Partner Group’s (HPG) Puget Sound division with overall responsibility for the full spectrum of multifamily development beginning at land acquisition, continuing through building occupancy, and concluding at asset disposition. HPG actively develops, redevelops, constructs, acquires, and manages multifamily communities with institutional partners in the most sought-after investment markets in the Western United States.
Ray’s career path began in finance as a Credit Analyst with Bank of America in New York and progressed to being a Vice President at BlackRock. At BlackRock, Ray was part of the Alternatives Group, investing over $1.4bn of Private Equity funds into industrial, office, retail and multifamily assets and developments.
Mr. Connell holds a BA in Business Administration from the Morehouse College and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s School of Business. Ray sits on the Board of CREDA Washington State (formerly NAIOP) and is an active member of several real estate industry and social organizations.

Manuel Garibay, Chief Investment Officer, Urban Renaissance Group Manuel Garibay brings more than 20 years of real estate investment and development experience to his role as Chief Investment Officer at Urban Renaissance Group (URG). At URG, Manuel oversees the company’s growth strategy, directs all investment activities—including acquisitions, development, and asset management—and manages relationships with institutional and private capital partners. He leads his team in sourcing, evaluating, and executing real estate investment opportunities across our target markets.
Over the course of his career, Manuel has managed over $2.5 billion in U.S. real estate investments spanning multifamily, office, hotel, and retail assets. He co-founded and served as principal of Kamiak, a real estate investment firm focused on acquisition, development, and operations for multifamily and office assets in the greater Seattle area. Prior to that, he was Vice President at Blackstone’s EQ Office platform, where he oversaw a 3.7 million square foot office portfolio in the Pacific Northwest and participating in acquisitions, leasing, and dispositions totaling over $1.2 billion.
Manuel holds a B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Washington and is an active member of Urban Land Institute.
